that is having issues, in order to print with this unit, you hit the setup button, then the stylus head moves to the left (if facing front) then as soon as it taps the far left wall, it begins to whine, I removed the cover of the stylus and located the source of the noise, it seems to be coming from something that reminds me of a voice coil from a speaker, presumably an electromagnet, the whine sounds to be around 10Khz~, it only does it when it is on the far left btw, anyway, as soon as it touches the wall, the power/error light begins blinking and the PIN MODE light begins blinking (in sync with each other of course), I have no idea what to do to fix this, I was told it worked fine all last year, the parallel settings have not been modified, and I am using the same (crappy) computer it was hooked up to before (Pentium 90mhz, 16mb SLOW) the software appears to have no problems and the computer tells me that there was an error in LPF2:EPSON (presumably an EPSON parallel add-in card) the KEY thing that hooks up to the cable (its a pass thru) is in tact, I have no idea what to check for, and replacing this unit is not an option.
also, a few things I noted
the PIN controls seem to not work
the TEST control appears to do nothing (its suppose to cut a circle when pressed)
